CombiTrio: Trinity at St. Christopher

An artist multiple and complex
There are already more than fifteen year Clermont Ferrand, at an event for television in Occitan, I had the pleasure of seeing for the first time Bernard Combi on stage. What a shock! What fun! I have before me a pure emanation of the earth limousine, violent, expressive, inventive and sensitive. Our culture a thousand years old, asleep in the memory of the distant and idealized illustrious troubadours was therefore still able to produce such emotions!
Since I often crossed the artist. Only he gives in the shamanism Limousin scary, capable of transmitting the language most ethnic Occitan poetry as the most contemporary. When he was one of two Eschantits with his accomplice Olivier Peyrat, it forms a brilliant couple who revisits the popular repertoire Occitan humor and spontaneity. As for the adventure undertaken some time in the DuoTras with bassist Dominic Benét it was much darker and hard. The public did not come out unscathed from his concerts, where his blues Limousin limits of free jazz took guts and left uncomfortable. And what about its terrible combination of "jos hell are the gate" along with the master Melhau Joan Dau.
A rock-blues Cappadocia with Bicycle
Today, Bernard Combi continues to innovate, to seek and question the artistic creation. Saturday, December 5 at the bar presents the St. Christopher's new band the CombiTrio. It includes Dominique Benét a bass guitar combined with Thimoté Alcorn on drums and Bernard always Combi with singing, drumming and diatonic. Where DuoTras was the inspiration sources of blues, CombiTrio draws its force in the energy of rock. All three are angry, impassioned, and inspired by the force of an ancient culture. If you want to change the world for one night, go to next Saturday, December 5 Génis.
